Art Programs

Our next term starts the week of September 11, 2023 and we do once a week in person classes. As of January 2024 we will be expanding our space allowing for more art makers to participate. Each group will be kept to a maximum of 10 and have their own designated instructor. This allows for personal growth in art.

Fall Term: Week of September 11 to December 4th

Winter Term: Week of January 8th to March 11th

We offer three terms per year. Fall, Winter and Spring.

Our Fall and Winter Schedules are below in a calendar format, just click the arrow to breeze past the current month and see what we are up to.

Join us for a once a week class and get creative with us. We have one hour classes and one and half hour classes.

Our studio provides meaningful and personal art direction. We keep our classes small to a maximum of 10 (11 if we HAVE to) to make sure your child gets attention to help them grow in art. We have always kept it small.

*Facilitators may choose to wear masks when working with your children

*Disrespectful and disruptive behaviour from children will not be tolerated.

Pre-School Program: Mini Makers

Children from as young as 2 years old can engage in once a week pre-school art programs that will focus on art making techniques and mediums. This includes drawing, painting and clay work. Participants will have several finished products by the end of the session. Illustrated storybooks will be used to emphasize lessons, providing context for instruction.

$299 per participant for a one hour class once a week/per term
Prices include all materials

Parents or caregivers are welcome to attend with the participant if desired. Parental accompaniment is mandatory for participants under the age of 4

Please do not arrive more than 5 minutes before you scheduled class time as facilitators need to prepare (and clean up a huge art mess) between classes for your child.

Please be prompt in picking up your child after the end of class.

School Age Program: Makers

Students ages 5 and up will learn about art history while connecting with materials and methods. Painting in acrylic and watercolour and drawing in charcoal and conte chalk will be explored, as well as molding and sculpting with clay and polymer. Students will gain insights into periods in art, in addition to gaining visual literacy in art through this experiential learning method.

$330 per participant for a one hour class once a week/per term
$399 per participant for a one hour and a half class once a week/per term

*Please note that age is a tricky way to classify children, so we are flexible*

 Prices include all materials.

Due to the small class sizes that we maintain, cancellation must be made 14 days prior to commencement of term for refund less the registration fee.

Please do not arrive more than 5 minutes before you scheduled class time as facilitators need to prepare between classes (and clean up a huge mess from the class before) prior to being able to welcome your child.

Please be prompt in picking up your child after the end of class.
